I don’t understand the logic of tossing my $30 team hat onto the ice for a guy making tons of cash. Can’t he afford his own hat?

Most places put the hats into a bin where they can be recovered after the game.

I wouldnt go that far. The Leafs did clearly miss on a chance or 2 and this game could have turned out differently for sure. They also look like an NHL team these days which is a change. But the Caps still won pretty much fair and square despite an ugly start. I think it took them 10+ to get a SOG.

Well, let’s not get too excited. Other than a horrible Leafs penalty kill, the Caps looked less than ordinary. Toronto dominated the 5 on 5 play pretty much all night. If the Caps play this way the rest of the year they will be on the outside looking in…
