So what you’re saying is the guy should have brought stability to the goaltending position the second he stepped on the ice and his failure to do so means you should start criticizing him game by game, shot by shot? That to me is insane. Bernie’s right, you need to have more patience with this guy. Goaltending is the most mentally strenuous position in hockey and making the adjustment from Phoenix to Philly can’t be easy. Give him closer to a full season before you start deciding whether or not he’s worth the money

Not sure you can fault fans for being impatient with a guy getting 51 million who’s been pretty much outplayed at times by his backup. Expectations are kind of high for that kind of cash and to say you need patience with a guy who was brought in to steady the position and hasnt… To me is insane. But hey… Whatever you need to get the obligatory Philly fan bash in..
