He’ll be ready for the playoffs! That’s what all this precautionary stuff is about the playoffs.
If you didn’t notice they really don’t need him now.
Also I think it is a leg injury.

I hope Crosby recovers. Ryan Miller, on the other hand…He should have been the one suspended instead of Tootoo. Punched a player several times while he’s on the ice. No penalty, nothing. And his coach has the gall to complain about how the penalties shook out?!?! His guy got off scot free for doing MUCH MORE than what the guy who got suspended did!

Complete joke, and I’ll be rooting for him to get run by his own teammate.

They need to stop babying him. If his condition is that delicate, he should retire. He shouldn’t want to end up a vegetable. I’m a big pens fan, but hasn’t done anything much since his first day back. I think Staal has had to take a backseat even though he and others held the team together when they really needed to. We need to pray for Engelland (sp?) and Letang. They are big difference makers. Crosby, not so much.

This is most likely not about his knee. He took an ImPACT test.

There’s obviously concern about head trauma. The decision to sit was probably not solely his.

But for real. Anyone who thinks he talks to the refs any more than guys from other teams just isn’t paying attention. You just notice it with him more because you don’t like him.

Well…. Crosby is kinda a sissy if for nothing other then his whining like a little baby to the refs over EVERYTHING. Actually go watch a Pens game live. Hes crying to the refs constantly… far more then you see on TV.

He was complaining about an injury to his leg because there was knee-to-knee contact. I’m very confused by the play, actually. Does he have any peripheral vision at all? If he’s sitting out I would presume he has a problem with his knee or there are indeed some parts of the concussion that has been re-agitated. I guess this will be his deal from now on? Get hit and sit? “I’m bringing awareness to hitting in the league in general now…people can really get hurt.” jk I just think his knee is a little sore. Most players would play through that though, just sayin’.

while i will agree that andy reid is fat…trading crosby makes no sense…he signed a short contract (only 4 yrs i think…) a couple years ago so the pens have the luxury of waiting him out and if the injury woes continue they can let him go to free agency or sign him again short term.

Crosby is the biggest sissy in hockey! He has great skills but always cries to the refs when someone brushes against him! If Crosby can give a hit then he should take a hit!

Also why does it seem like Gary Betteman protects him! If you protect one then protect everyone!
