Deputy commissioner Bill Daly discussed realignment with NHL.com’s EJ Hradek last night at Pebble Beach (apparently before joining the ghost of Bing Crosby for a clam bake).
Daly admitted realignment would mean “a little more travel” for certain teams, but the governors were “thinking with a league hat on” when they made the decision. (No truth to the rumor that this is the league hat.)

No thanks, I’d rather rather not. Why would I want to listen to Gary Bettman’s beliefs regurgitated more forcibly by the fat face of his #1 crony? That’s pretty much Daly’s job description as far as I’m concerned
