To me it’s almost like watching baseball, though, a sport I love dearly. The quote about baseball being “It’s kinda boring until it’s not.” The Wild are fun to watch on their aggressive forecheck, have had some exciting short-handed goals as a result of not lying back on the PK, and play a system that IMO is a far cry from the old Lemaire trap that was so rightly maligned for its yawn-inducing entertainment value. Watching Yeo’s system is MUCH more aggressive than many of those neutral-zone traps, relying on a smart aggression that I for one have loved to watch. It’s the reason guys like Clutterbuck have thrived under Yeo as well, and I welcome it (and FIRST PLACE) with open arms.

Great two way play from the centers and wings have added more speed this year than ever… the young D-core is playing Yeo’s system very, very well and out goaltending speaks for itself. Go Wild.

Tough game for Minny tonight against the Sharks. Hopefully they can get them back and Seto or Heater can light the lamp

Koivu does all the little things well and is fun to watch. It would be nice if he shot the puck a little more, sometimes he gives it up too fast.
