I’m sure he’s got ‘friends’ all over North America. Anyway, the breakfast was indeed a big deal, and most certainly a team meeting. They got into town in the wee hours, and didn’t have a morning skate as usual. The breakfast/meeting was prep time for the game. No prep, no play.

It was too late for him to go out on the town. Maybe he stayed with a “friend” in Winnepeg. The breakfast is not a huge deal and not really a team meeting. Just a way for the club to make sure the players are getting an optimal meal on game day. That’s why they let it slide a few times. He did it too often and the team felt he was being unprofessional, so they gave him a boot in the ass.

Milbury has made veiled references to Seguin’s off-ice conduct numerous times. Wondered what the real story was there. Guess we’re finding out what he was talking about, or at least getting a hint.

Nip this one in the bud. Teenagers will be teenagers, but when you get paid millions – NO EXCUSES. He’s clearly having too much fun out on the town. He obviously was not in his hotel room, or his roommate would have dragged him down to the meeting. Out on the town after arriving in the Peg after 2 am. – uh, not good.

This kid is maybe a shade too cock-sure of himself. His production the past 2 weeks has tailed off. I think we know why now. This little problem may have cost us the game tonight.
