Hello? ALL OF YOU making comments and doing a one sided trashing of John Steigerwald. Are you all actually making the point, the implication that Ryan Lambert is any better?? That Lambert is actually a credible sports writer?? REALLY? Have any of you ever read the TRASH that Lambert writes? Give me a break people. They are both MORONS!! Anyone media entity that employs either of them is not a credible entity and I have wondered for a long long time why anything that either one of them writes is ever published.

Get over it. Ovechkin is a big boy, he can take care of himself. Let Sterigerwald and Lambert act like the morons that they are, and let them tear each other apart and ruin each other. Will be the BEST THING to happen to sports and sports media.

Alas, the three criteria are:

1) It can’t be true.
2) It has to be said maliciously.
and the big one:
3) It has to be reported as fact, not opinion.

Steggasauruswold was hiding behind that last one big time. Neither of them can prove it wasn’t opinion, so, no lawsuit.

I think we should talk openly about PEDs, child molestation, racism, sexism, equal opportunity and so on but when a tabloid journalist or not, recklessly writes about or speaks about a single individual regarding serious accusations of consuming PEDs that writer needs facts. Facts are not whispers or intense discussions or heartfelt opinions. Facts are dates, times, places, with who, what, where, and when attached. John Steigerwald now admits he made a MISTAKE when he wrote in his column for The Observer that Ovechkin’s doctor was arrested for bringing in PEDs from Canada. Steigerwald didn’t have the smuggling doctors name nor is this bad man OVIE’s doctor.

I hope Steigerwald’s peers continue to hold his feet to the fire and take him to task for such reckless, dishonest opinions. I also hope The Pennsylvania Observer realizes John Steigerwald is trying to advance his own career at the expense of not just Ovechickin but of every child, adult, league player and league in America!!

John Steigerwald is such an idiot.

In his mind its fine for throw around one of the most serious accusations you possibly can about an athleat based on complete BS (its not “evidence” of any kind… not even flimsy)… yet he grills Ryan Lambert for calling him and his brother “homers”, which they clearly are? Wow, give me a break.

Any sports reporter who gets their “evidence” from internet forums is an complete an utter failure at this job. This guy needs to be fired, and no one employing him has any credability until he is.
