On 11/22/11, he kneed former teammate Mark Eaton and Mark is out 6 weeks as a result. There was no call or discipline and, having watched the incident, I am not sure why.

But if I had to pick anyone to be the receiving end of one, it would certainly be Cooke. For what he’s done in the past, he really shouldn’t even be allowed the privilege of playing in the NHL. It’s great that he cleaned up his game this year. But the damage he’s already inflicted is ridiculous.
