Well, actually it was widely agreed on that Maurice was the wrong coach for the team. The guy is as stubborn and old-fashioned as it comes, and it lead to his firing.

But yes, he is one of the classiest and greatest guys you will ever meet. His sense of humor is amazing and his statistical knowledge is fantastic.

I feel bad for Maurcie, Carolina doesn’t seem to have enough horses and yes the coach is the fall guy but talent wins games and when your best player is playing awful its tough to get around that and try to win.

As a Carolina fan, I don’t think anyone disliked Paul Maurice or thought he was a poor coach. It was simply time for a change. In any business, it is healthy to make changes.

If I was a fan of another team, I’d welcome Maurice to my team if he was brought in. Someone is going to eventually get a very good coach.

Maybe Muller will leave a note when he gets fired in a couple of years, and Maurice gets re-re-hired?
