Yes, that one game speaks volumes about their fortunes. Tell me, skippy, when was the last time the Wild did anything in the postseason?

That's right.

Very good news for Lightning fans (and yes, despite the claims made by the Boston bear, we know you're out there guys). Hedman is a damned fine D-man, with the potential to make the jump to Norris-status if he keeps going. Good to have him locked up for a while to come.

...but as others have said here, the Lightning need a goalie yesterday. That they haven't made a move yet tells me one of two things- 1) anyone they've tried to get a goalie from have been content to let them twist in the wind, or 2) they're insane and believe Roloson will even out soon. I expect that once the Islanders get healthy in net again (well, 'healthy'- DiPietro, you know?), they'll be willing to talk about Nabokov.

More like desperately need a goalie. Roloson is old as crap and their backup is terrible. All that talent and still can't beat my Wild. Cal Clutterbuck FTW.

Nice to have this out of the way already.
Both Stankos and Hedman signed for 5 years
Connally signed for 3
MSL26 signed for 4 years
Vinny signed forever.
Brewer signed for 4 years
Now, if we can just get a goalie!
GO BOLTS!

Defensively he has gone from about a 6 his rookie year to a solid 8-9 on a nightly basis. He's finally playing physical and using his size to his advantage. Eventually I see him becoming more aggressive and physical and a top defenseman in the league. Being a 20-year-old NHL defenseman is hard, so I'm impressed to see him at this level one season after he was making some bonehead plays and skating around like a softie.
