Wow, 1st off he has a career winning percentage above. 650. 2nd This would be a Notes 2.0….really you think Notes and Ryan are equal, its a ridiculous comparison. 3rd There would obviously be additional swaps and Notes has a 2 way contract meaning his salary can be buried in Rochester. The rumor has legs and the Sabres are not acting the same way they usually do when asked about outlandish trades. It is perhaps unlikely, but so was Erhoff Regyher and Leino signings.

The Salaries would wash if they played the same position. If the Miller trade goes down, Ana. would be on the hook for over $10mil. in their goaltenders. Again, not happening. This would be a good move if A.) Buffalo hadn’t signed Leino, B.) Ennis or Boyes are out for a long time, C.) The Sabres were really struggling to score goals, and D.) If Enroth had a winning record as the full-time starter, which he doesn’t. None of these are true. This would be Brad Boyes 2.0.

Look at the numbers of Enroth and if he is all world as you say, Hiller isn’t. Also Miller and Ryans salaries wash

They aren’t covering it because it has no legs. First, why whould Anaheim trade for a Starting Goalies salary to sit behind Hiller? Second, Macintyre is not a capable back-up to Enroth. Third, Enroth isn’t even a capable starter. He puts up decent numbers, but he hasn’t played enough to allow Buffalo to ship a (Former) All-World Goaltender. Also, where would Ryan fit in on an already crowded, and expensive, offense?

Dude, I love this site but how are you not covering Miller wanting a trade and rumors of a possible Bobby Ryan for Miller swap. Also the in case you missed it, Rudder told a awesome story about playing against Dale Hunter, and Hunter hit him so hard he woke up in a locker room with no idea what happened. It was a interview on WGR550 if you want a good laugh.
