Stakex, yeah right, he’s not very popular, sheez. Have you turned on your tv or read the paper? The hockey people of the world just might like him …….its not unusual for people to go after the best, no matter what. Just jealousy, no big deal. Usually losers who really don’t understand the game.

stakex-For all the waxing you do on here that I generally agree with, here you are egregiously wrong. On several counts. One, that was no elbow, let alone “really dirty elbow”. Thats alot of adjectives to describe something that simply did not happen. Two, its not even a headshot. If you play hockey like you frequently say you do, then know this is a scrum. Plain and simple. Also, I can all but guarantee that Crosby is not playing to become a more popular player. Nor does he give a sh*t about all of us on these boards. You, however would cream to have him on your team.

Thing is, Crosby was the one whining about head shots and the like all summer…. and then he goes and throws a really dirty elbow to the head in his 3rd game back. Its pure hypocricy from the games biggest whiner. He might be extreamly talented, but he would be a much more popular player if he wasn’t a whiner, a diver, and a dirty player.

I guess I’d be a dirty crybaby too, because if someone repeatedly cross checked me in the crease, I’d also be tempted to toss an elbow. Come to think of it, the rest of you would also have to be labeled a dirty crybaby, either that or a wuss not standing there and just taking it. Take your pick – wuss or dirty crybaby… which would we need to label you??

This is a comment for the PHT Blog in general. Please! Please bring back the tonight/today’s starting goalies posts. I used to read them every single day and they are very useful for those of us that play fantasy hockey. I don’t know about the other sites but ESPN does not update players statuses regularly so this was my go-to resource for which goalie to start.

Foligno was playing like an ass the entire game. trying to start stuff with everybody, not just crosby. the video doesnt show the 30 cheap shots foligno took throughout the game

He didn’t get the memo? Crysby was only talking about hits to HIS head. So far I’ve seen Sid take a weak dive on a typical defensive cross-check, more than a few questionable hacks, and this elbow. He won’t get called, it isn’t good for hockey if its best player has to play by the same rules as a lesser player. Hopefully once all the fuss dies down everything will go back to normal.
