Friday on NBC: Red Wings at Bruins (1 p.m. ET)

Thanksgiving Showdown

Just a reminder there’s a rather compelling NHL game Friday afternoon between the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings (1 p.m. ET, NBC). You should totally watch it.

And while we’re at it, don’t forget to tune in to “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” at 8/7c on NBC. The Village Voice raves about the adventure film starring Nicolas Cage, calling it “a moderately pleasing diversion.”

As for the hockey game, you couldn’t ask for much more in November. The Bruins have won 10 in a row and host a Red Wings side that’s won three straight and seven of its last nine.

“We’re facing the defending Stanley Cup champions,” said Detroit defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom. “It’ll be a fun game to play, especially when you play them in their building. It’s going to be hyped up.”

You should also watch “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” at 8/7c on Nov. 30. (I believe it’s on NBC.)

    Plugging Nicolas Cage movies? Pathetic.

Methinks someone missed the sarcastic humor in this blog post (which is pretty hard to do, even if you are unfamiliar with the dry wit of the kurtenbloggers).

    Thanksgiving nite here in Halifax!

Finally I hear the BBBee’s meet up with a team equal to their size and temperament! – Temperamental and nasty.

Maybe just maybe there will be joy when the WINNING
big bad Red Wings make the B’s weep and beg for mercy. Some sweet day. Maybe this day!

I will be Sooo HAPPY again. (It is Sat. here now) Not that long until 2 pm.

I hope Lucic doesn’t rufflle their feathers!! No! I do! I do!

Friday all day long! Sorry! Wrong day.

Penguins show their skills tomorrow nite against another team I love to hate.- Ottawa Senators!

They better all be on the same page tomorrow nite and come out flying. They have adjustments to make with Crosby back. Go guys go! Be great together!
