Buffalo is a growing, improving team with new management and a wicked B player teaching them to wake up and defend and offend!
They have to learn not to blow a 2-3 goal lead! The Boston bullies may be great but every great team has it's lows. Look at my Penguins! They should have had the Cup again but here we are. Beginning all over, growing and battling it out! Good stuff! Entertainment for all of us!

sorry but the Blues are not the worst team in the league. we had a rough start this season but after a much needed coaching change we are winning games and bringing a 100% effort to every game. we are sitting at 3rd in the division and 8th overall in the conference, that is after a
terrible start under payne. we shouldve won against the kinds, one of our defensemen decided to turn the puck over in front of our own net twice, we had them chassing us all night, the game before that we pushed the wild to a shootout- they happend to be #1 overall, we beat up on the panthers before that and they are 2nd in the east, shut out chicago who sits at 3rd and beat the wings right after and they are at 6th. sorry bud, but the blues are beating or coming damn close to beating the beat teams in the league.
the Blue Jackets are the worst team in the league, when the pens lose to them, then you can bitch.

And....back to earth he fell. A man's stick, and not a gods. His skates actually DO touch the ice just like every other players.

Look - Crosby is a great player, no one can ever deny that. But don't get caught up in the hypes and the highs. The occassional lows and mediocrity will level it all out..

A mans greatness at his profession is measured by the entire body of his work. Let's just enjoy his play and watch how his career plays out to the end.

Sid is not 'the' face of the NHL, he's simply one of them.

Seriously? Comparing him to Tiger Woods is apples and oranges. Tiger has yet to come close to the level he was at before his time off. Crosby was his old self the first time he stepped on the ice after his. I really hope we won't have to read one or two or five of these every day

This article virtually says what I said last night: One game against the worst team in the NHL was in no way a messuring stick for where Crosby is at. There was no way to tell how "back" he really was until we saw him in action against a decent team with an experienced goalie. We saw that tonight, and tonight Crosby looked a lot more like a player who missed 10 games.

So what does that mean? Not a whole lot really, just like last nights game didn't mean a whole lot. It just means no one, and I mean no one, knows just how "back" Crosby really is at this point. One great game does not mean hes 100%, and one bad game is no reason for his fans to panic. Its kinda like whats happening with Tiger Woods the past couple years. Every time he goes out and has a good round, the media and his fans scream about him being back to his old self... only to find out the next day why hes really not back to his old self at all. Thats really where the Crosby situation is now.

I dont mean to say Crosby is going to struggle for the next couple years like Tiger Woods is. Not at all. Just that the fans/media need to calm down a little bit and realize one really good game from Crosby is not a reason to declare that hes 100% back to his old self. When he shows over a stretch of games thats he is capable of playing like the Crosby of old... THEN declare him back.
