you will see a fight or two in the first 10 minutes to get it out of the way and then they will get back to playing to win. maybe a little uglyness if the score gets out of hand, but i would bet that the refs will ensure it's closer via tight calls to ensure special teams are on the ice a lot- just in case.

I don't think the league will have a problem if some Buffalo designated tough guy just drops his gloves and takes on Lucic. It really doesn't make a difference if the Sabres win or lose that fight. They just have to do that. If they try any headshots or other cheap shots, the Bruins will respond in kind.

In any case, no goalie on either team should try to skate out all the way to the face off circle to try to play the puck.

Of course there isn't going to be blood in this game. Heres why:

1. Buffalo knows the league is going to be keeping an eye on this game, and I'm sure the coach has beat that into the players brains, and warned them not to do anything stupid. So don't expect any sort of cheap shots on Lucic or anything.

2. Anything Buffalo can give, they will get back a lot worse. As a neutral observer there is no question Boston is the more physical team... and Buffalo would get destroyed in a nasty game. So I highly doubt the game will be overly physical, unless of course Boston decides to play it that way.

3. Buffalo already showed the don't have the stones to respond. Their goalie was flattened and no one made any sort of real effort to go after Lucic on the play. You see all out brawls develop for a whole lot less then the hit on Miller..... yet Buffalo shrugged it off like it was nothing.

------

You might see a bit more hitting and perhaps a couple fights in this game... but I wouldn't expect any sort of fireworks or attempts at retribution.

Goalies behind the net are suppose to be off limits.... more so then those who charge out of the net. Didn't see the game so I couldn't really comment on the specific play, but any intentional contact with the goalie behind the net is suppose to be interference.

Remember when this happened and the league stated goalies are not fair game outside the crease? Tonight Gustavsson got shoved in the back by a TBL player after he had played the puck behind the net and there was no interference call. The ref pointed to the ice and appeared to indicate it was legit because Gustavsson wasn't in the crease. Strange.....seems if goalies who come charging out of their crease to play a puck are protected then goalies going behind the net to do the same thing should be afforded the same protection
