Skinner is really fun to watch. He doesn't have much speed in the neutral zone but his creativity and skill make up for it.

You go, kid.

I see a whole lot of boys enrolling in male figure skating classes across North America. Who knew it could be a training ground for future NHL stars. One thing is for sure, those moves by Skinner are mesmerizing. He can move 360 degrees effortlessly. Watch him skate sideways behind the net after scoring.

The biggest difference between Rookie Jeff Skinner and 2nd Year Jeff Skinner is his confidence and creativity with his skating. This season he seems to routinely enter the offensive zone skating backward, a seemingly vulnerable position, but this kid skates just as fast in reverse, and he's getting the knack for knowing when he has the space to make a move like this and when to pass off to a teammate, of course sometimes he just gets rubbed out along the boards, either way its fun to watch, and on occasion you get to witness a move like this. He's easily one of the top 5 skaters in the game.
