Bieksa is right. Its been months since the finals. He should just keep his mouth shut. The worst Stanley Cup final series I’ve ever seen. I was only neutral observer and I stopped watching and caring about who wins after game 4. Anyways this is just a ploy to divert attention away from his buddy Lucic. Nothing else.

As to the Islander comment, with all due respect to the Bruins, they are NOT (6-0) that much better than the Islanders. More to the point, the Islanders are a much better team than they showed last night and better than they have showed for much of this season and that is why Cappy was so incensed.

My biggest issue with Vancouver was that they appeared to believe they had the series won after game two. Teams that reach the Stanley Cup finals typically have something that teams in other sports don’t; grit.

Most of them don’t just roll over after two games.

Recchi’s comments have caused quite a stir in Vancouver. But it’s not as if any of this hasn’t been said before about the Canucks and there were so many players in the league just rooting for the Canucks to lose to the Bruins. The fact is that even in that article, the writer points out the juvenile antics of a few of the Canucks. They do dive, flop, and whine. Recchi never called out the Sedins. The columnist believes that because the Sedins are the leaders of that team and are classy that Recchi is off base. It doesn’t work that way and maybe the difference between Boston and Vancouver was the leadership on the ice.
