Detroit Red Wings fans are experts at cooking up conspiracy theories, but every once in a while, they have a point. Take the absurdity of Jimmy Howard being left off the 2012 All-Star Game ballots, for instance. Stars such as Nicklas Lidstrom steal a lot of attention from “Jimmah,” but the Red Wings’ affordable franchise guy is putting together a great season.
