Its understandable that Boudreau would be a bit testy. After all, if the Caps keep playing like this… hes probably going to get fired (then again, he should have been a long time ago… so who knows). His stars are struggling, and the bubble of great play from the 3rd line that the caps rode for the first 7 games of the season has now burst…. leaving them looking disorganized and in-effective. No coach is going to be happy about that. At the same time though, Bruce is the man…. and he should be able to answer rather easy questions like this without having a fit about it.

One thing is very clear though: Ovechkin and Boudreau are not getting along very well this year. Hate to tell Bruce, but if push comes to shove between him and Ovechkin…. he loses, which might be the best thing that ever happened to the Caps.

Welcome to the NHL, Bruce. You think the Pens are tired of being asked about Crosby coming back? Or the Bruins about the Lucic hit? This is your team, it’s your marquee big-name player, and people are going to want to know what’s going on with him, in good and bad times. Man up- if it irritates you, go back to coaching in the AHL where none of those mean reporters will bother you.
