Both he and Zetterberg are now showing why they were drafted so low. Just goes to show how much Yzerman and then Rafalski made them overachieve. Without them they are exactly what was expected: 6th and 7th round picks.

I’d still take an “awful” Datsyuk over many other players on any given day
