Devils beat Sabres thanks to Brodeur, Kovalchuk

The New Jersey Devils didn’t just beat the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night. They defeated them in about as ideal a way as one could imagine, at least if you take Tyler Myers’ game (two goals, one questionable hit on Dainius Zubrus) out of the equation. Martin Brodeur looked downright spry while Ilya Kovalchuk scored a beauty of a goal in his return from injury as the Devils won 5-3. Check out highlights of the game below.
