Matt Stajan has a NTC/NMC?? What the hell is going on in Calgary?

Personally, I think these clauses are undervalued by GMs; they seem to throw them in for nothing in return, and then are pissed 2 years later when they cannot trade the player. I think the NHL needs smarter GMs. Ones that know a little more than evaluating hockey talent (even if that is still the most important skill).

Maybe I’m confused, but wouldn’t the other GMs want, you know, hockey players in return for trading one of their hockey players? Because if that’s the case, Howson has nothing to offer.

Heard Doug Wilson was working the room, looking for more injured players, and more 3rd and 4th line players to blame at the end of this season. Wilson was overheard offering every one of the teams upcoming draft choices for low salaried under preforming rental players who will leave after the season is over, leaving the team with nothing gained.
