I never thought it would pan out. I honestly thought they’d shot the best player on the team out of a cannon in a knee-jerk move after the sweep by Boston. But they’re the best I’ve seen them since the 2010 glory run, and their goaltending is a good deal more consistent, too. They’re going to go far again this year.

Giroux was a star all season that year. It’s good to see him getting the attention that he deserves.

Oh wait, haven’t heard a thing about them.

Gotta love watching these guys play. It was very interesting to see how the changes panned out this year, and early on you have to say that Holmgren knew what he was doing in handing the keys to this franchise to Giroux, JVR, etc.

Giroux really is a to the player in the league…no question, if you don’t think so than obviously you haven’t seen much of him. 2nd in the league in goals and points. and he’s only going to get better
