So much cap room on an already-crazy good team. It’s kind of terrifying when you think about it. They’re at the cap FLOOR, beating everyone at the cap CEILING. They could sign WHOEVER they wanted if they were in a stable ownership position, and the better they play, the more likely that is to happen – this is the absolute best time to be playing like an invincible war engine, because investor confidence is driven up by piles of wins. And when they settle it? Dear God, enjoy Suter/Weber/Parise/Schneider/who the fuck ever signed as free agents because hey, they’ve got the money to outbid everyone for all of them, all at once. The Stars are in a very scary place right now – for everyone else, that is.
