You say the point is very simple but still fail to make one. Check the standings, the Leafs are far from the worst franchise in pro sports

The point is pretty simple; you said the sens never won anything. I said they won the eastern conference 4 years ago. That was dismissed as not having won anything. I said the leafs, beyond kessel were overrated AHLers. You said the sens were worse. So I ask you this is a double Dion going -2 or -4 for the night? Love it when the worst franchise on pro sports lives up to their name…

I don’t even know what point you’re trying to make here. I’ve always been a Leafs fan, always will be, and taking shots at a Sens fan is part of the deal. I don’t really care if you have a problem with that or the way I go about it

who cares what team i root for? It doesnt matter.
I root for the Bruins. So your a loser since you havent won a championship in the last year.
See how easy that is? Its stupid. You cant brag about your teams accomplishment when you are not the ones on the ice making it happen. Anyone can pick a winner to follow, its easy.

Oh my, the Eastern Conference, good for you winning a trophy most players don’t even wanna touch. You’re just lucky you didn’t have to play the Leafs that year. Karlsson looks pretty good but he’d look a lot better in another jersey. Aside from him, Spez, and Krusty the Clown your team is…how did you put it?…AHL calibre

Sens won the Eastern Conference four years ago. And I’ll take Karlsson all day over anyone on the Leafs blue line.

“You guys have never won anything and probably never will”. YOU have never won anything either…your team has. So STFU. You just happened to be the fan of a team that has won before. Congrats.
Your other points are good though. Leafs are definately better than the Sens by a large margin

The Leafs are a playoff team in the Eastern Conference, but not the Western Conference. They have a great goalie and a couple of top end forward. I think Kessel and Lupul will fade off a little, but the Leafs will be fine when Reimer is in net.
They are a fun team to watch. Just like Edmonton. Fast pased and lots of potential on the ice that create some interesting plays

Wow, not even sure where to start here. First of all, Leafs fans don’t think the team has “arrived”, but it is the best squad we’ve seen since the lockout so forgive us for being optimistic about a long-awaited return to the playoffs. Second, I don’t know what exactly makes the tandem injury prone. Gustavsson has a heart condition that hasn’t been a problem this year and Reimer hasn’t been hurt before his concussion. I have no problem with him sitting out a few extra games to get back to 100% rather than rushing him back to action and risking him getting hurt again. Third, our top 6 is well above “AHL calibre” and it’s not like our other 2 lines haven’t been chipping in. Fourth, I wouldn’t say Phaneuf has peaked just because the Leafs have lost 2 straight for the first time this year. Sounds like someone’s a bit jealous we have Double Dion and you guys are stuck with that washed-up Russian on your blue line. Fifth, the Sens suck. You guys have never won anything and probably never will

The Leafs have one star who racks up points against weak teams and disappears when it matters. They have a decent defenseman/captain who peaked early and an injury-prone goalie tandem…the rest of the team are AHL-caliber. They’re no better than the Sens…difference is the Sens are rebuilding; the Leafs have “arrived” according to their fans.
