Right after a sloppy 1-0 goal, Matt Martin tried to stir up the New York Islanders by fighting Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid. That didn’t really work, as the Bruins eventually charged to a 3-1 lead, but changing from Evgeni Nabokov to Al Montoya made a game of this one (which is currently in progress on Versus). Still, it was quite an exchange of fisticuffs, so enjoy this video if fights are your thing.

did McQuaid beat the crap out of him because of that hairdo? good a reason as any. and what’s with the headline O’Brien? that was a pretty one-sided beating.
