For a while they were talking about moving Malkin to the wing to play alongside Staal, so that could help ease the logjam down the middle.

With only 1 assist and a -5 in ten games so far its going to be hard to get anything for him. Those numbers are really bad when you consider hes playing on a team with a very soilid offense.

I see a trip to the minors in Letestu’s future.

He was solid last year but hasn’t made an impact this year yet. I guess it makes sense though. He won’t really get a chance outside of 4th line duty unless there are injuries again.
