Not sure about that so much. The one they should be looking at is Ehrhoff’s hit on Van Riemsdyk when JVR beats the icing out. Ehrhoff sticks his stick in JVR’s skates and elbows him from behind, sending him head first into the boards while JVR is going for the puck.

it’s not a classic headbutt, but he was not playing the puck at that moment either. he pretty much launched his head into Voraceks head. not sure it is suspension worthy, but a little sinister in any case. stay classy kaleta.

This really didn’t look like a “headbutt”… at least not an intentional headbutt. Its hard to tell from the video, but it looks like he was just lowering his head while scumming for the puck. Thats actually a good way to hurt yourself to be honest.

Perhaps a fine might be in order, but I fail to see this as suspension worthy. Unless of course there is another camera angle that shows clear intent.
