If Brodeur had a defense in front of him that was as good of one that he had for the better part of his career (a large part of why Brodeur was as good as he was btw)... he could probably milk it for another year or two. However, the Devils simply do not have the defense to continue to make him look like a star anymore, and if the Devils want to be a contenter again its time to move on. Good money says this is his last year. 

Of course as a Rangers fan, I would love to see the Devils hang on to him for a couple more years.]]></description>
