It was pretty sneaky, but Edmonton, Calgary, Colorado and Minnesota all sucked last year. Consensus of opinion (at least in Vancouver) was that it would be a cakewalk again this year.

If they really did underestimate their division, that’s on their coach. I don’t know how that could happen.

Kesler was hurt, and he is the team leader (C or no C). Lingering concern is that they underestimated their division, and expect to cruise to #3 in the West.
