GB, it goes back to whites dressing up in blackface to make fun of the African American race. Even if the intent wasn’t racist, it’s insensitive because of the history of it all. Google “minstrel shows” and “blackface” for your answer.

I actually didn’t see the Torres story for whatever reason. When I saw this story, I thought Andre’s costume was awesome! Then I looked up Torres’…D Wade can be white but Torres can’t be black? I don’t even like Torres, but I’m fine with what he and Andre did. Show up as a white Mr. T, and Andre looks pretty ridiculous…

Someone really needs to help me figure out what is wrong with any of this. Just because a white man dresses up as a black man, this can be looked at as an act of racism. It’s the last thing that anyone should think. If I was a racist, I highly doubt I would dress as something / someone I hate. People need to get a grip on reality and worry about themselves and not others for a change.
