Hahahahaha. What a good joke by Ron Wilson. Phaneuf aint even close to the best. But I will give him credit. Atleast he dosnt look like a pee wee with their head up their own ass anymore.

Phaneuf;s certainly looking a lot better than he has in a long while, but let’s not get caught up in delusions, Ron. I’m truly amazed at the refinements he’s made to his defensive game and newfound cleanliness (I mean, he used to be a walking bag of penalty minutes!) but he’s hardly the “best” anything. He’s sure as hell better than he’s been since the hunt for the Norris, though, and that’s helping the Leafs a lot. He’s playing great – just, not THAT great.

Ron’s partly right. Phaneuf is certainly the most overrated defenseman in the NHL by a country kilometre or mile. Either measurement works.
