Apart from the fact that the Bs will never trade Chara and he likely has a NTC or MNC & wouldn’t approve such a trade anyway, the NYI are unlikely to move anybody other than Nabby or Montoya right now.

I’m sure the isles would welcome zdeno chara back say in exchange for … a conditional first round pick Rolston jay pandolfo and maybe mottau to sweeten the pot a bit if necessary throw in some cash considerations as well

Man, Rene Bourque would be a good way to replace Lucic. Costs less, actually DOES SOMETHING, et cetera. He’s a productive power forward who comes close to thirty goals a season on a fairly bad team – I can only assume he’d rival Lucic’s one-hit wonder season with Krejci centering.
