Seriously though…. national Red Wing following is huge, plus history/respect, winning 11 Stanley Cups and 20 straight years in post season play. That pretty much sums up the reasons. I actually felt like the announcers REALLY wanted San Jose to win. Interesting difference in our perceptions.

When San Jose wins ‘a’ Stanley Cup Final, they’ll start earning a little better press. Right now, they’re all too satisfied to beat the Red Wings each year.

They need to aim higher. They’re in their prime. They need to get it done now.

Make however many youtube videos you want Red Wing fans, you still lost. Incredible series though.
