I sure wouldn’t feel bad if I was his teammate and hurt him again in practice. I mean after all, he NEEDS to be hit… and if it hurts him, hes clearly not ready yet. Its that simple.

I find it hard to believe that there isn’t a coach that can’t hit him in a controlled envioroment and this is the next logical step in his recovery.

Yeah I am a little nervous but Kadar has already been doing contact drills with him. It’s not like a coach or other player can’t hit him even if the team isn’t practicing. I think it’s great they don’t have much time for practice because then it doesn’t rush Crosby to get hit and he can continue to recover.
