Another voice of agreement here. Lucic has been invisible through the first six games. If he could just bring half as much anger to the game as he did to those cops outside his condo, he might be effective. As great as the ride was last year, that's just a memory now.

The moment he became trade bait was when he uttered those six delusional words - DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? Yes, we do. And we still don't care. Sell high, trade him.

Yeah, I'm with you guys too. Sell him high while he's coming off a season that makes him look better than he is. He's really not that great. You could use a faster guy who favours a sniping style of game in his slot. There's enough muscle in Horton, and Seguin will fill into a fairly solid guy too. I don't know, maybe run Marchand on the left side? He's gonna be a top-line guy in short order, I think. Thirty or more from him is much more likely than the same from Lucic.

I have to agree with mgp. So much so that it feels like I wrote that myself. Lucic doesn't play with that chip on his shoulder anymore and is bringing down his whole line. Krejci is wasting his talents trying to set this slug up. He is slow to the puck, can't catch passes cleanly, can't pass, and has a terrible shot. Why this guy gets so much ice time and PP time is mind blowing. Nathan Horton, and I know he is still finding his way coming back from the concusion, is starting to play like Lucic and it scares me. I've been saying all along that I would love to see a Seguin-Krecji-Horton line and move Lucic down to the third line. Playing against other teams's top speed line kills Lucic. Maybe that would wake him up and he can earn his way back up but if I was offered a fair trade I'd be the first at the airport thanking him for his time here and thanking him for leaving.

I'm a life long Bruins fan and would not mind seeing Lucic traded. He's more hype than production I know he scored 30 goals last year (including 5 ENG), but he is simply not a smart player. He makes more mistakes than most Bruins fans realize or deny. Get past the "Neely protoge" crap. He's no Cam Neely and never will be. Hell, he doesn't evn hit anyone anymore. If he doesn't play a physical game, he might as well sit, and he generally doesn't start hitting people until the Bruins are down 2 or 3 goals. One of the most overrated players in the game today. I'd take Rick Nash any day over Lucic.
