Sure you’ve had success recently, but I believe Sid still has more wins head-to-head with Ovie. Once they have Sid and Malkin back healthy and if your guys play without Semin and Ovie, we’d see who owns who.

I do agree though that it’s not much of a rivalry. A team with a Stanley Cup and another appearance in the Finals and a team that can’t escape the second round don’t exactly embody must-see-tv. Maybe it’ll be more interesting if the Caps ever win something meaningful.

And I wish Beagle a quick recovery. While I thoroughly enjoyed the knock-out, I was disappointed with Asham’s gestures and of course don’t want an opponent to be injured.

Caps own the Pens. It’s what, 12-1 in D.C.’s favor? Yea. I’m sure the Capitals are shaking in their skates at the thought of steamrolling the classless Pens yet again…

BTW – as a Caps fan, I don’t think Asham did anything wrong. Fights are part of the game, and I doubt he knew he’d hurt Beagle.
