So called experts claimed Flyers couldn’t replace the presence of Richards and Carter and that guys like Giroux and JVR benefited from them. Well it seems to actually be the contrary. They said Giroux and JVR couldn’t be the top two guys. Well experts, you were wrong. This team is for the most part young, big, and fast. There is also a great veteran presence on offense, defense, and in net. Yes, it is only October but to think this team wont be around in late may/june is foolish.

I think trades work! Still some chemistry needed in passing but we played a strong team tonight. This was a must needed win even if its October it showed where we need to work. Happy! Go Flyers!!!

3-0 is nice but it’s only October. There are still things that the Flyers need to address. For one, Hartnell needs to play smarter. And the FlyBoys need play better in their defensive zone. That being said, I like what I see and this team plays with a mean streak that was missing down the stretch last year. Go Flyers.
