BB loves to roll with the hot hand. Vokoun will get less than 55 starts this year. Varly had a .924 save pct and GAA under 2.40 and couldn’t keep the job. Neuvirth and Vokoun will put up similar efficiency numbers, and Vokoun will only get 60% of the starts, imho (best case scenario – worst case scenario for him, Neuvirth takes the lead).

Odd to not have your ‘#1 goalie’ not start the season opener if there is nothing wrong with him.

This isnt a big deal. Now if they called up Holtby from Hershey to make the start, THAT would be news.
