I think players will respond since there is a clear guideline and video evidence of what is allowed and what isn’t. Clutterbuck said he watched the video several times to made sure he understood and I am sure other players are doing the same thing.

The best thing is the openness of the league with the videos and explanations, it gives the league more credibility with the public.

Stay consistent with the suspensions if they are merited. Sooner or later the boys will get the message that dirty hits will have consequences. Everybody’s watching…

Shanahan is really doing a great job so far. If he keeps up this consistency throughout the season, and thee’s no reason I can see that he won’t, he might actually bring some sanity to the league and cut down the number of these needless cheap shots
