Why is the Winter Classic on that Monday afternoon? Aren’t most people going to be working at that time?

We will get a refund for the Winter Classic game 44th game which you mentioned about. You will be able to apply the refund to 2011-2012 playoff tickets, 2012-2013 season or get a check mailed if you don’t get playoff tics or renew. Details to follow…although that is the bull s*/t part of it. It is an NHL game and not a traditional home game but that is the way the Winter Classic games always are…

One major correction: Flyers fans HAVE NOT been sent their season tickets containing the ducats that will get them into Citizens Bank Park that afternoon. What we have been told is that the Winter Classic tickets are NOT part of our season ticket package. We have been told we will have an opportunity to purchase as many tickets as we have season tickets. And they still charged us for 44 games. The Phila Daily News wrote that the Flyers said the league controlled all the tickets. This is a Flyers home game, not an All Star game and its a load of crap what the Flyers are letting the league do (if its true), After the brutal price increase this year, the least the Flyers could do would be to take their allotment (which they admit will be at least enough for season tickets holders and almost certainly more) and provide them to us gratis. They have not even explained how they are going to credit us for the one game they owe us.
