Murray is just brutal.
He took a team with puck-movers, turned them into slow plugs like Jason Smith and Kuba, has hired a bevy of yes-men and consistently blamed everything on John Muckler, coaches, the price of tea in China while hollering “ACCOUNTABILITY” at every turn. The man has never built a team from the ground up and he’s going to turn is into contenders? If you’re going to bring up Anaheim, there were no more than FIVE players on the winning roster (Gigger, MacDonald, couple others) from the time he was GM and they brought in two new GMs and a new coach.

Yeah, Murray is a dud. He needs to go after this contract and the subsequent bottom five finishes, and when I say “go” it doesn’t mean Tim “Bryan’s Mouthpiece and Ears” Murray either. Get an outsider that will bring some accountability to this franchise and not turn it into a country club that gives ice time to anyone that asks for it and refuses to hold players accountable off the ice.

What Bryan Murray should hate is that there are 29 GM’s in the league who are better at their jobs than he is! This guy is awful and yet teams just keep giving him opportunity after opportunity. He’s decimated that Sens roster!
