@1943 – he’s not a locker room or team leader. Never has been. He was a very good hockey player who just isn’t anymore. He contributed very little if any to the Wings 3rd or 4th lines before or after injury.

Mike – it’s time to be remembered for your greatness and bow out respectably.

He’d be a serviceable 3rd or 4th liner (if he stays healthy) that could help provide leadership to a team but that’s about it. However, if no team has made him an offer yet another season probably isn’t in the cards for Mike. He’ll be a first ballot hall-of -famer though, no doubt about that
