True true. Nashville has a legitimate #1 goalie in Rinne. Moving Doan won’t be easy but he is 34 years old (3rd oldest on PHX’s roster). Teams will give up prospects/draft picks for Doan services. If the Coyotes struggle throughout the season, they should strongly consider moving Doan to improve their future. ‘Zona fans may not like that, but this is the reality of the this team.

I agree, but easier said than done. Especially with that budget. They do keep making the playoffs for reasons I dont even know. I dont think they will make it this year without Bryz but Nashville does the same thing to me every year.

He seems like a guy who puts the success of his team before his own. I think he will block any trade until some time during his final season. He doesn’t look 35 out there, no question he’s got a few good years for the Coyotes left in him

You are right. But they should put a better team around him them. He is the face of PHX. And I’m sure he is as loyal as they come. Look at their roster, do they look like a team that will be contending for the Stanley Cup? That’s the perspective I’m coming from. If the GM and/or the organization really cared for Mr. Doan, they would give him better players to surround or trade him to a Cup contender.

So thats the perspective from outside Phoenix, but if your a fan or GM or anything, what would you want to do.
No way they trade him. They need him. Hes one of those important players that i just dont think they can trade to be honest.

He should be. One of those guys who gives all he has got. But he is only getting older. Putting him on a legitimate playoff team would make them a contender for Lord Stanley’s Cup.
