I’m not talking about his partying. I’m talking about his lack of production when you need him the most. His partying was just the icing on the cake for his ticket out of town. Unless people in Columbus don’t care about winning (which I highly doubt is true), Carter’s play will frustrate more than please. His numbers look nice from afar. Trust me on this one.

Thats fine. All im saying is he puts up points. I dont care how much he parties if he can put up those points. I dont care what else he does, if he puts up those points. It comes down to that.

Honestly, i dont give a fuck what he is if hes putting up 60+ points a year. We will have the same experience with Carter in a completely different way. You will have a rid with Filly because if he doesnt get what he wants, seee yaa. He will make comments to media and sell people out, etc. Hes a work in progress. Ill take the Carter ride any day of the week

I have to agree with you here. I think that is what they were trying to say as Filitov would not be a good fit in any other role except a scoring one. I don’t think they should put him with Spezza though unless they have some good defense to pair with the two as I could just see Spezza and Filitov sitting at center ice whilst the other team is running all over them in their defensive zone.

Sure, this guy might be another bust. But why bring him in if you are not giving him top-2 line minutes? He is a one-dimensional scorer. He cannot play the 4th line grinder role. I do not see the issue here. Plus, what probably has happened is that the Sens told him he will have top-2 line time when he plays. If he is not good enough to be playing on those lines, he will not be playing.
