Bad trade in trading Stewart. They messed up last season badly. Sorry Avs fans, never minded the Avs but i see them 12 or less in conference.

There some funky negative mental mojo going on there. They’ve got very good young talent, that has underperformed perennially.

How do you get them out of the funky failure pattern???

We had a lot of injuries last year – 2nd in the league in man games lost – and the fact that they were all key players didn’t help – Fleischmann, Mueller, etc. With the team back healthy, we’ll be awesome. And that slump really helped the young guys – Duchene said he learned more from our epic meltdown then he’d learned in his entire time in the NHL. We’ve got a lot of new faces on the team, too, so that’ll help. And a lot of EJ’s performance in St. Louis that earned him the “bust” lable was the result of confidence issues, and, judging from Dater’s article, that’s a non-issue right now. The whole team’s pissed off about last year, and they’re ready to make sure that doesn’t happen. And remember 2009-10? Everyone said we’d be one of the worst teams in the league, and we made the playoffs. Don’t write the Avs off because of last year.
