HENCE why they lost TWO years straight in the Conference finals. Sorry to burst your bubble but SJ did not get better they actually got a little worse. Losing Seitguchi and Heatley and gaining Havlat isnt what I would call an improvement. Brent Burns is overrated and way overpaid. It will be hilarious to see them lose again in the playoffs. Shutout two years straight in the Conference finals and almost had one of the worst losses in Playoff history (barely even beating detroit after going up 3-0 in the series) they managed to get one lucky fluke goal from underachieving and overpaid centre. That team I thought was caliber enough to actually win the Cup the last few seasons but I sure was wrong. GL on the playoffs next year when you get knocked out again but it will be the first round this time.

Live in the NOW, “Hockeytown.” When Lidstrom retires after this season, it’s only going to get worse. Meanwhile, while we got bounced in the WCF this year, we’ve improved yet again in the offseason. If you want to see a Stanley Cup playoff game, come to San Jose in June — I might be able to score you some tickets. (No way in hell I’d let a Dead Things fan sit with me.) ;-)
