dont let this guy speak for us, Ive met an overwhelming total of 0 people who have any issue with this logo. most people are just happy to have another Canadian team in the league. the guy complaining needs to get on board with that instead of nitpicking and looking like a huge joke

Someone ate a good amount of granola growing up. Ahh yes we have to many outlets for news information, we are forced to over-evaluated everything. Somethings just are and sport team logo’s are just that. Do any of us really think about the name of our teams? For Example, we say Flyers all the time, but what the F is a Flyer? You know, it doesn’t matter, it is just a word.

Do any of us look at the LA Kings and think that they are trying to project a sexist image of a elitist tyranical leader?

as a caps fan and a son of the US Navy, I like it, but on PFH talk.com they mentioned the US was in the emblem, so I studied it again and could not find any reference to the US. Can you guys & gals from the great nation of Canada?

A hockey logo is a hockey logo. Sounds like Tom is working on a political science masters thesis. And has an axe to grind with Don Cherry. Amusingly most fans place their sporting interests in better perspective than the journos (and bloggers) who cover same sport.

Tom’s an idiot, a Hockey Logo is a Hockey Logo. No one really cares it’s tied to the military, a country known for peace keeping. It could have been an AirBus, NY JETS, or AirForce One Logo. Tom is a blogger, not on ESPN, Fox Sports or CBC. Too the rest of the world, a nobody… We don’t hear this from the City of Winnipeg. He should be more concerned with peace keeping in his own city for a loss of a simple game. Tom’s an Idiot…
