It was a great series with Tampa, and you got a good team down there with competent management and a coach that’s fun to watch. Some of the best players in the league too. No arguments there.

The B’s however did face some tough injuries at the worst time, besides Savard who was a big part of the offense. Remember Horton going out at a most pivotal point in the playoffs? Who gave us much of a chance after that. And Bergeron suffered a concussion as well. Thank God it was mild. Where was the offense going to come from?

The key was that the whole team came through to pick up the slack when nobody gave them much of a chance. It was a team that was at its best when backed into a corner. That was the difference.

As for the Sox beating the Rays, no arguments there. With the salaries the Sox (and Yankees) can afford, they’re just doing what’s expected. When I see the Sox fans almost outnumber the Rays and Orioles fans at their own parks, I can understand why other fans get a little tired of us here in Boston. Maybe we’re getting a little obnoxious, but hey, it’s been a long time for us B’s fans, cut us some slack for a few months.

One goal in a tightly played seven game series. That series could have gone 10 more games and they would have split them.

And your comparing a $150mil+ team to a $40mil team with no offense? That’s about as lame as Muttbolts whining. I’m a Bolts fan and it beginning to irritate me. Season is over let it go. New year, let’s move on and focus on this upcoming season. 82 games – new challenges.

Let’s see if the Bruins can escape the injury bug again this year. The only guy lost for any time was Savard and that was almost a given at the start of the year with his concussion issues.

Not mad.remember bolts won in 04.just like the game to be fairly called.no responce on horton not getting ban.torys got two games for samething vs was. Only happy for thomas,all other bruins can die.wont even win div this year withoit best player colin cambell.

Tim Thomas played in every game.. They never had to deal with the loss of Chara and/or Thomas for any length of time. So, it is undetermined if they could have actually won without their best players.. Probably not given how often Thomas bailed them out during the playoffs.

I seem to remember reading that she posed for Playboy or something. Is she a stripper? While I don’t know, I will go out on a limb and say absolutely not! Her husband makes a very good living. She might make a good living herself for all I know. She has a beautiful young son. I’ve seen her interviewed on TV and she seems smart and engaging. So no, she’s not out stripping at night.

Nathan Horton is from Dunneville, Ontario, located on the shores of Lake Erie. Buffalo is the closest airport, so I’m sure he was just picking up the cup and taking it for the half hour drive back home to Canada,

No one really wants to spend the day in Buffalo, not even people who live in Buffalo!!
