Hey gramps… Datsyuk DOES dominate the league both offensively and defensively… check his trophy case full of Selke and Lady Byngs. Now that you’ve laughed at the Lady Byng trophies, check takeaway numbers in his career which make the Lady Byngs impressive. Check Datsyuk’s career +/-.

Orr was one hell of a player, don’t get me wrong. But to say Datsyuk is a one way player is ignorant and obtuse.

I am a Bruins fan and appreciate what you went through with injuries. The Bruins lost a lot of players in 2009-10 and those playoffs were a disaster for us. I also wish the Bruins would have had a chance to play the Penguins at their best. Unfortunately, that does not always happen and no one in the league will ever feel sorry for you. Best thing to hope for is an Eastern Conference final between the Penguins and Bruins in 2011-12.

I dont think Penguin fans think the playoffs was sucessful without their best player in Crosby . Yet alone without Malkin . I think the Pens would have had a major impact of who was going to the Stanley cup finals if both of those players was healthy .

Orr was a PLUS 124 in 1970-71
